You may have heard of us before – we were once in Northbridge – pioneering much of Perth’s early love for climbing tall walls. We took a break (to relocate) and now we’re back, in Balcatta, bigger and better than ever with more climbs in our brand-new facility.
Summit Climbing Group
Summit Climbing Gyms is where the fun happens, our commercial climbing centre is where the Summit brand was born and has introduced thousands of people to climbing for over 10 years.
Our facility is home to a variety of climbing styles to cater for all abilities and experience levels, including top-rope, lead climbing, and bouldering. We also have a full-service pro shop, training area, and café available on site.
Port Side Boulders
Bouldering is a form of rock climbing on 4.5 meter high climbing walls. “Problems” are climbed without ropes or harnesses with one person climbing at a time. There is no need for belayers so all participants are free to climb at their own pace.
Portside Boulders has over 100 problems available within the one bouldering area at any one time. Problems stay on the wall for 4 weeks before being changed. So there will always be something new to climb at Portside!
Urban Jungle Indoor Rock Climbing
Urban Jungle Indoor Rock Climbing is situated on Solomon Road, conveniently located off the freeway in Jandakot. Our state-of-the-art facility offers a diverse range of climbing activities, including fitness sessions, functions, and birthday parties.
Our brand-new (2020) building is specifically designed for climbing, featuring the latest fit-out of City Wall and Walltopia climbing structures.
The Boulder Hub
The Boulder Hub is Perth’s first dedicated bouldering and training facility which has been designed for first time through to highly experienced rock climbers and boulderers.
